Ken and I finished a legacy project in comic format this last year. I did the interior drawings and Ken did the cover illustration, he also coloured the whole comic book. Sold through Amazon.
When Donna Pistell was born, doctors told her mother to put the profoundly disabled baby in an institution, since she was “just going to die anyway.” But Donna – as she often did – proved the experts wrong, living to enjoy 80 years rich in learning, travel, and friendship.
This book tells her story, as well as the story of the fund she set up at the University of Victoria, BC, Canada, to open doors for other students living with disabilities. ISBN9781778224706
